During all this he played on a series of Random & Moira muds, wrote the first non-Emacs programmable MUD client but let bob release his first, wrote the Chaos post office to spare future generations the trauma of being postmaster, saw one of the first desc viruses on Brigadoon, and finally helped found Crossroads (the great white hope of MUCK; like most pioneers, it eventually expired from arrows in the back).
After a long boring period, he suffered a bout of insanity in September of 1992 and offered both FurryMUCK and Amber temporary debugging sites. After lots of excitement, including the last desc virus, he got rid of his Furry wizard bit but kept the Amber one, and has lived there relatively happily ever since.
Chris idles on Amber so you can ask him questions, wavers about socializing on TooMUSH ]I[, and sometimes drops by both Deep Seas and FurryMUCK to talk to friends and partake of the (cough) atmosphere or lack thereof.
