So Where Did That Stupid Image Come From

From Usenix, of course, where I got my face scanned as part of the FaceSaver project. But I didn't want a GIF file of my mug, what I really wanted was an ikon image, suitable for sticking in an X-Face header in all my mail so people with programs like exmh could see what I look like.

Unfortunately, the best conversion I managed wound up looking like this , which is not quite what I wanted. Anyone who manages a better conversion (or simply feels like drawing a strange mail ikon for me in the same format, 48x48 black and white) should get in touch.
